Kerry International Film Festival (KIFF) is welcoming expressions of interest to join its Board in 2024. Board members are responsible for the governance of the organisation. We are looking for applicants that have skills and experience in the film sector and/or sponsorship and fundraising generation.
KIFF is a renowned festival and key event on the Kerry events calendar, taking place in October.,, primarily in the town of Killarney but with events occurring countywide. This year we celebrate our 25th Anniversary edition. Every year, KIFF reveals new talent with our comprehensive short film selections (Irish-Language, International, Irish, Kerry, Student, Animation). The Kerry International Film Festival also screens a carefully considered number of feature films, narrative, documentary, and animation. KIFF seeks to continually innovate and to bring the filmmaking community together for workshops and industry days, as well as increasing the connection between Kerry, its people, locations and businesses, and the wider film industry.
KIFF has a strong relationship with our headline sponsor Kerry Airport who continue to support us. In addition to this, we have established relationships with numerous hoteliers in Killarney including the Great Southern Hotel, Randles Hotel and the Killarney Plaza Hotel who all compliment our festival as well as our outreach events throughout the year.
